Evidence to Practice: Eat, Sleep, Console
Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 12:00-1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
This VON Grand Rounds webinar is focused on the care model of Eat – Sleep – Console for assessment of infants experiencing opioid withdrawal. Neonatal opioid withdrawal is triggered by the discontinuation of placental transmission of maternal opioids causing neuro-excitability and gastrointestinal dysfunction. Earlier assessment tools focused on symptoms while Eat – Sleep – Console addresses functional dimensions.
